Recent Grads

Aya Angstadt, '15 Aya will be attending medical school at the University of Colorado School of Medicine with plans to become a practicing physician.
Anna Borchert, '15 Anna has accepted employment working as a Research Chemist for Imerys beginning in June. She will be working on projects for the filtration and performance additives business group at the San Jose, California laboratory facility.
Sara Brown, '15 In the fall Sara will attend the University of Colorado School of Medicine. There she has also been accepted into the Rural Track, where she hopes to focus on General Surgery or Family Practice in a rural under-served area.
Nicole Neals, '15 Nicole will be working for American Energy Assets as an Energy Engineer in the company's Denver office. Nicole will be analyzing building energy use for clients and advising them how they can improve their economic and environmental footprint. Nicole has also been accepted into a Civil & Environmental Engineering graduate program a the University of California, Berkeley. Nicole hopes to defer attendance in graduate school for at least a year so she can gain engineering experience before specializing in an area of study.
Alex Nilles, ' 15 Alli will be attending graduate school at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Chaimpaign where she will pursue a PhD in computer science. Her research will focus on artificial intelligence and systems that can actively learn and detect structure in data.
Lucy Orsi '15 Lucy will be spending the next year studying abroad in two different places: in the fall she will study in Scotland and in the spring she will study in China.
Matthew Rakestraw '15 Matt is seeking an Electrical Engineering position with the government.
Kayla Sandaval '15 Kayl will be working for Ecocion as an Associate Consultant in Denver, Colorado.
Chelsea Sandridge '15 Chelsea will be working as a Sales Operation Analyst for Zayo Group in Boulder.
Robert Schultheis '15 Robert accepted a position as a Wastewater Treatment Engineer at Air Diffusion Systems in Gurnee, Illinois.
May Stanley '15 After graduation May will be working for BHP Billiton as a production planner. She will be working at the San Juan underground coal mine in Farmington, New Mexico. She plans to specialize in mine ventilation, and possibly continue her education in the future in system optimization.
Paige Stevens '15 Paige is actively looking for a full time position with a variety of manufacturing companies, including steel, forging, and oil and gas.

Alec Thompson, '15 Alec will be looking for a position in the biofuels and mine site remediation industries and hopes to work for a smaller start up company or the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
